From the Author: Notes From the Panicked and Exhausted.

Well, this is it. This is usually the point when I stop writing for a few days (or weeks) until my brain can rest, catch up, and invent some new ideas for the next round. But here I am, pushing through it, writing things while you all watch. Hopefully you don't get a sniff of my desperate grasps at the creative process.  The best thing about this experiment is that I've written a chapter everyday for thirteen days, the worst thing about it is that I've written a chapter everyday for thirteen days. So I guess my point is this, don't look too hard behind the curtain as I try to connect narrative dots and figure out where the heck we're all going next. Try to enjoy the ride of seeing a sloppy first draft being thrown together as the author panics. I knew this wouldn't be easy, but I also don't think I understood how hard it would be.

With all of that said, I'm also having a great time. It's just plain electric to see where this is going while you all watch. It's also great to get the feedback, the artwork, and general social media "likes". You're all the greatest in my book, well not in this particular book but you know what I mean.

Okay, back to panicking and trying to figure out what the hell I'm doing.

Cheers,

Eric
