A New Short Story Collection

To be honest, I've been in a bit of a block lately. I've been working on several projects, but they are all a struggle. Nothing is flowing. Typically, when that happens, I go back and read some stuff I've written beforehand. It's comforting to know that, at one time, you were not awful and something of quality came out of your brain. As I read through some of my short stories from the past year or two, I also noticed a pattern I wasn't really aware of. A large portion of them were about loss and grief. This really isn't a surprise as I had finally started working through the grief of my mother's passing, but it was interesting to see that my mind slanted towards the topic without any conscious effort to do so.

I thought it would be interesting to release a few of these stories as a small collection. For one, it is interesting to see the chronology and method of my own process. On a secondary note, though, they connect in such a wholly thematic way I felt silly not putting them together sooner.

So now they are.

For less than a dollar you can check them out and own them. Full disclosure, you could read all of the stories on this site for free if you search the archives. I think there is something to say, though, for having them arranged in order and bound together. It almost makes a whole new narrative when they're sitting side by side.

Regardless, they are out there, and they are available for you to purchase. Just head on over to Amazon and buy a copy. Hope you enjoy them.

Take care of each other,

Eric
